What Has Been Going On With Me

Well...what has been going on with me? Well...I'll tell you. This last weekend was our first reenactment of the year up at Knight's Ferry. It was so cool! Then let's see...I'm still working on getting my book published...it is a long process. And oh yes...I can't forget...I just recorded my first song called Please Come Back. That was a big thing...I had been dying to record a song with my brother, and it finally worked out. God is so good!
Right now I am fighting the allergy season. It is pretty bad right now...and that has been a struggle for me the past two years. So...working on that.
Also...I might be auditioning for a play this summer called, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. I'm sure you have heard of the famous musical. :D I am so excited about this...because in May of last year...I was in the play called "The Emporer's New Clothes" in which I played the Princess...and I am dying to go back...so this is a good opportunity.

He Passed Away...

A sad time right now for me. A dear friend of ours just passed away yesterday. You realize how precious life is when you lose someone. An empty feeling dwells inside me and right now it feels as though I will never believe it is real. I went to the hospital to see him and he wasn't even breathing on his own. It was so hard to see him that way. I am glad that he is now in heaven rejoicing. In a way God was having mercy on him, if he would have lived he would have had severe brain damage. I know that he couldn't have stood doing nothing, he was so energetic, always doing something.
We will all miss his so terribly at church, he was always there for us and now he is gone.

The Night Before Christmas

Hello All,
I am sitting here in my room blogging about the things that I have done on the night before Christmas. We opened one present which was from our Grandparents and then had the Christmas story from the Bible and then got to watch Jesus Of Nazareth. I really enjoyed watching this, because it is so insightful about all of the things that happened around the birth of Christ Jesus.
It opens your eyes to know that the story was not just about Mary having a baby in a stable. No, it really opens up your eyes about the amazing events surrounding this miraculous birth.
I am so excited about tommorow morning when we open our presents!! I love when we get up early and open out presents. It feels so specail as my family surrounds me, together and close. I know that it will not last forever, so I treasure the time that we have left.

Hello All,
Today is Xmas Eve and I am so excited about tommorow!! How about you? I just thought that I would say something.
Right now outside my window it is not snowing, but it is cloudy and foggy. Sometimes I wish that we could have snow here, but alas, that will probably never happen. :(

A Dream And A Hope

A dream has come true right now and I am hoping that it will keep on living. As you know in my interests I have listed that one of my intrests are singing. Well, my brother just so happens to sing and record himself and he is now willing to record me!!
I have wanted to do this for so long. And now I am hoping that he is willing to keep on recording me:D
I feel that my spirit is lifted up when I sing. I love classical music!! Like Josh Groban style. So that is what I hope that he will be willing to record. My brother also composes the music, so this opens up a lot of opportunities.
As soon as we get the song that we are working on right now recorded, I might have a music Myspace!! We just started yesterday so we still have awhile to go though. But I am looking forward to the day when I can hear what it sounds like with my vioce recorded for real.
My brother will be singing with me also. So I am looking forward to that. I hope that I can write real soon and tell you that it is finished!! But for now I must say goodbye.

My First Blog

This is my first post!! Yuppee!! Writing is so much fun for me, so this is a great outlet for me. First I wanna start with telling you a little bit about me.

I am 14 years old with five brothers and no sisters. I enjoy: reading the Bible, singing, acting in plays, knitting, chrocheting, baking, cooking, writing books, decorating, and all manner of things I can't think of right now.

As you can see, I put up a picture on the top. This is to show you what I am not. I am not a fisherman. Fishing takes patience and enjoyment of the sport, but I am short on both when it comes to fishing. But I will say one thing, the view was beautiful!

Well, now that I have posted the first post here, so I think I am now officially a member!!
